Who we are
Smarter Than AI is a trivia game published by AHZY Capital. This policy describes the default Android build. If rewarded ads are switched on later, AHZY Capital will update this policy and the Play Data safety form before that build ships.
Data stored on the device
The question bank, scores, streak, head to head record, lifeline inventory, Quiz Master flag, and settings stay in local storage on the device. There is no player account. Reset stats clears the record and leaves lifelines and Quiz Master in place. Uninstalling the app removes the local data.
Notifications
The daily reminder is off until the player turns it on. It is scheduled on the device for 9:00 local time. The notification does not upload the duel or an identity. On Android the app creates a “Daily duel” notification channel before it asks for permission.
Purchases
50/50 packs, +10 second packs, and the Quiz Master unlock are sold by Google Play. The app does not receive card numbers. When the RevenueCat Android SDK key is present, RevenueCat processes the purchase result and an anonymous app user id so Quiz Master can be restored. A build without that key does not contact RevenueCat. Until checkout is connected, the shop says purchases are coming soon.
Analytics
The app records install, session start, duel start, duel complete, purchase, share, and day 1 or day 7 return on the device. The Play build does not print or upload those events. A development build may print them in the local console. Events are not sent to a third party unless a provider such as PostHog is attached in a later build.
Advertising
The Google Mobile Ads SDK is included so a rewarded video can be enabled later. Initialization is delayed, and the app does not initialize the SDK while the rewarded ad flag is off. The default build shows no ads, does not use the advertising id, and does not include banners or interstitials. The advertising id permission is removed from the manifest.
Children
Smarter Than AI is not directed at children under 13 and is not part of a Designed for Families program. It does not ask for a name, email, or precise location, and it has no chat or public profile.
